Eli has been working within the investment field, utilizing his skills to assist with the decision-making process for institutional and private wealth clients, since the mid-2000s. He is a CFA charter holder who received his Masters of Arts Economics from the University of Toronto, as well as his Honours Bachelor of Arts Economics degree from University of Western Ontario.
Eli’s career in the investment industry began as an Equity Research Associate at TD Securities, providing support to a top-ranked senior telecom and cable analyst. He was subsequently promoted to Research Analyst to help further support the firm’s mandate to build its stock research platform.
Prior to joining Bellwether, Eli was Portfolio Manager at a Toronto-based Investment Counsel. In his role, Eli covered over 60 companies across several sectors and sizes in Canada and the U.S., and regularly contributed to the Canadian and U.S. economic and market outlook summary reports for clients.
Eli feels motivated by the time he spends with his three daughters, as well as the opportunity to educate individuals in the areas of budgeting and personal financial management.
In his spare time Eli enjoys participating in various recreational activities, such as Tennis and Hockey.
