Chris was initially born and raised in a small town in the southwest of Scotland. Before moving to Canada, he worked in a family-run funeral business for several years.
“I have always had a strong need to help others. During my experience in the funeral business, I came across too many people with life regrets and difficulties in managing their affairs as they had not taken the time to plan ahead.”
At school in Scotland, Christopher studied Business Management and then obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the gold standard of the industry. Chris particularly enjoyed the retirement and tax planning aspects of this designation which has led him to success in wealth management for the past ten years.
“Outside of work, I regularly play soccer and ball-hockey, and I am an all-around sports enthusiast in general. Family is very important to me, and along with my wife, Lucy and daughter, Isla we try to get back to Scotland to visit as much as possible.”
