For more than twenty-five years, Jamie has worked with Canadian families and business owners to help them get more out of their wealth: managing it, protecting it, and eventually passing it on. With a view that legacies are built and reinforced over time, his advice centres on the idea that a life well lived is one that helps others do the same.
That belief has shaped how Jamie serves clients since 1999: understand their living, lifestyle, and financial goals before recommending anything at all. He earned his start on the industry’s analytical side, but it was the client conversations that held his attention. Following that interest led him to planning, where he excelled at helping entrepreneurs and owner-managers make their life’s work stable, secure, and sustainable from one generation to the next.
Portfolio construction, investment strategy, tax and estate structuring, retirement income modelling—he brings together his full-spectrum expertise as a single plan instead of a collection of disconnected advice. Jamie’s holistic approach has been a constant throughout his career and stems from the belief that great plans come from great conversations: learn where people are, ask where they want to be, and close the distance between the two.
Jamie holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University, along with the CFP, CLU, CIM, RRC, and TEP designations. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a member of both STEP Canada and the Canadian Tax Federation.
