Therrien Wood & Co. Announce the Testing of Their Proposed Early Stage Investment Managers Incubation Program

Oakville, Ontario, May 5, 2006 - Therrien Wood & Company, an independent investment management company formed in June 2005, has begun developing a new innovative investment concept that has the objective of incubating new investment management capabilities.

John Wood, Chief Executive Officer says "Early Stage Investment Managers ("ESIM") have the potential of producing significantly higher returns on a sustainable basis. Our research indicates that newly incorporated investment management operations, run by experienced investment professionals that are currently committed to the new incorporation, have the potential to produce higher returns. Our plan involves providing selected ESIMs with assets to manage in return for an ownership interest in their business."
